A timing belt provides quiet, maintenance free, high-speed linear drive and IAS specialise in open-ended belt and pulleys for linear drive applications. We can supply T5, T10, RPP8 and RPP14 Megadyne cut to length open-ended belts, clamping plates and pulleys to suit.
T profiles stocked are steel corded white polyurethane and a range of compounds and cords for higher loads or corrosion resistance are also avaliable. RPP profiles are also steel corded and white polyurethane but have nylon fabric teeth for quieter running. Special backings for gripping and feeding of cartons and bottles etc and cleats can also be supplied. These types of systems are ideal to retain and guide product in a converyor application.
We stock the following types;
- T5 in 10mm width with a max traction load of 0.3kN. Ideal for light and compact positioning systems.
- T10 in 16 and 25mm widths with traction loads from 1.4kN to 2.3kN. A versatile system ideal for doors, conveying applications and general positioning.
- RRP8 in 20, 30 and 50mm widths with traction loads from 2.9kN to 7.6kN. A highly versatile drive widely used for doors, backstops, saws and positioning.
- RPP14 in 40mm width with a traction load of 12.2kN. Ideal for high load applications.
