IAS can supply a large range of backlash free & torsionally rigid couplings. Ideally suited for connecting encoders, stepping and servo motors. These couplings can be mounted using split clamping hubs or friction locking hubs. This makes them ideal for frequent forward/reversing applications without your machine losing rotational or linear accuracy.

Metric and Imperial bores are available, with the option of different bores on the same coupling, especially when you have a servo shaft diameter and ballscrew shaft journal diameter which are different. Bore sizes run from 3 to 60mm and stainless steel types are also available. We stock sizes to suit our servo systems.

We can arrange supply of these couplings pre-bored to your needs, saving time, labour and avoiding the hassle of having to machine small ID bores. If you have these on a production machine, it will also save downtime, if you have a pre-bored coupling available in your factory's spare parts to cover any breakdowns or collisions which may occur.
